BTW, the following news is about another topic, but includes one important observation:Antonio Linares wrote: Thats what gave me the key I remebered I had read that Windows phone 8 allows C/C++ code. When I reviewed Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate and saw the C/C++ support, then I got the connection. We can use the same implementation on Windows Phone 8

Cheers, RomanSince Windows 8 was announced it has been clear that a shift of power within Microsoft has made C#, and the whole .NET system, look less attractive - you could say that the re-imagining of Windows brought the limelight back on C++.

Re: Harbour being ported to Windows 8 WinRT
Hi Guys!
We are happy of the result of testing of our POS on Windows 8.
But the posibiity of Harbour and FW RT is more exiciting.
The C/C++ approach for Harbour made by Anotnio realy works.
My congratulations to Harbour and FW team!
This can be an opportunity for Harbour to attract more developers.
Cheers!
Jose
