Wish List for FWH 2008

Here I have a wish list of things I would like to see in FWH 8.xx. Actually, I think we are very close on almost everything:

1) 2007 support for the following controls to finish the work Antonio has already started:
a) Standard buttons
b) Folder tabs
c) Comboboxes

2) The fix for NOINDENT on Message Bar

3) Transparent SAY

4) TMPICKER() which seems to have disappeared

5) An updated Calendar control that works in dialogs ( there is an older one that was created for 16 bit Clipper ). Actually this can be a call to the Windows Calendar control ... just formatted to be used in a dialog.

And ... it really would be nice to have the documentation brought up to date.

Anyone else ?

Tim,

All those issues that you comment are going to be delivered along this year, and quite soon :-)

Of course ... and the work you have done this year has been very very helpful.

I thought if people contribute their "wishes" it might help you to identify resources that will help a lot of us ...

Thanks for the hard work in 2007.

what do you mean about standard button and folder ttabs ?

Buttons and tabs

OK ...

Buttons ... ie OK, Add, Exit, etc that appear on a dialog ( not on a button bar ) do not show 2007 colors when in focus. Compare this to buttons on button bars, and menu items.

When using folders ( not tabs ), the tab on the top of the folder should also show a 2007 color when in focus.

By "in focus" I mean when we do a mouseover.

I know that work was done on "Tabs" but not folders. It was suggested awhile ago ( to include folders ).

Tim,

Fernando from Via Coral has done an excellent work "skinning" standard Windows controls.

Still its a work in progress, but without unnecesary preasure and proper feedback, he may deliver exactly what you want.
