Enhanced Sharpness of XBROWSE Looks

Post by RAMESHBABU »

Dear Antonio,

I have been using XBROWSE class since a long time. When ever I look at the
browser, I used to feel that the painting of XBROWSE borders around the
browser and horizontal/vertical lines, does not connect to the outside box
and they don't look sharp.

Therefore I took some time yesterday, and I tried some changes in XBROWSE.PRG.
After implementing the changes, the present look of the browser is sharp as
appearing in the screen shorts shown below:

If you kindly permit, I will pass on the changes to Mr.Nageswara Rao to
implement them in our next FWH Version.

Hello Ramesh,

You have some very nice dialog's.....

Is it hardcoded or Resource ?

I'm at this point in slow conversion of 16 bit ))) to current version.

It would be very kind of you if you could shared the design code for these dialogs, In my case I have no commercial product or sell software.
I only use FWH for personal use in my company.

Mr. Uwe... if you read this post.... You also have very nice screens i've seen before.

Thanks as allways...

Marc

Hello Marc,

I think you can tremendously simplify the source code of your programs if you use an additional preprocessor.
Best regards,
Otto

Holala ))) This is new for me....never used preprocessor.

I can use FWH and also more.. but I always need to start from a working sample. Than I can enhance, seek for more data in the forum and have a nice result.

Mr.Marc,
You have some very nice dialog's.....
Thank you.
Is it hardcoded or Resource ?
Some dialogs are designed in Resources and some are Hardcorded.

Ultimately the design layout and the color combinations used in the dialog
plays very important roll in its presentation.

These screens are redesigned fom my 16 Bit Clipper Application.

You too can design nice screens yourself.
