Hello,
I'm going to print ean-13 barcodes with FWH and going to buy a ticket printer (like the ones of zebra)
Things I hear is that thermal printer are not good because the ink is just ok for 6 months ?
Then they advice the cartridge printers ?
Need to say that I need to use cardstickets like you can find in clohing, but they need to stay long !! (so no stickers)
and Is there a printer that is FWH friendly

Any Windows printer is FWH friendly
I use thermal printers in various customers.
I print thermal labels for over 5 years in some of them, and I didn't have problemas at all.
I use Epson, Zebra, 3nStar thermal printers.
So I don't see any problems with them.
Any else you need just contact me.
From Chile

I think you need thermal transfer. We use Godex.
https://www.zebra.com/us/en/resource-li ... nting.html
There are two thermal printing methods: direct thermal and thermal transfer. Each method uses a thermal printhead that applies heat to the surface being marked. Direct thermal printing uses chemically treated,
heat-sensitive media that blackens when it passes under the thermal printhead,
while thermal transfer printing uses a heated ribbon to produce durable, long-lasting images on a wide variety of materials.

Hey Adolfo or someone else
![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
,
I could get my hands on a Zebra GX430T printer. I'm waiting on some paper I ordered, but i wanted to see some code for it to print on.
I believe the Zebra (lib or rc) files need to be included. I have been able to print ean13 labels on a normal printer.
Could you share a small working function that I can use as a base for generating my labels ? It dos not matter witch fields you use, but the barcode and barcode nummer should be on it.
My first use would be folowing :
Scan a barcode from product, look it up and let FW and the Zebra print a label with data and also the barcode. (_... print / scan... print // enz.)
The print came with no manual, but I'm sure to find it online...
Thanks in advance for your help...
