Which Resource Editor to be used?

Post by anserkk »

Friends,

I am very much new to the Resources editing & creation. I would like to know which Resource editors are mostly used by FWH developers and also which resource editor works perfectly with FWH Ver 8.05

I read about the name "Borland Resource Workshop" in FiveWin's Manual. I understand that Borland's Resource Workshop is not a freeware. Do Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008 has any Resource editor bundled? If yes, is it compatible with FWH. My question may be a very stupid one. Please excuse me, I am just learning.

Any info about Freeware Resource editors which can be used along with FWH v 8.05.

I found ResEdit http://www.resedit.net/ a freeware. Can I use this along with FWH

I would also like to know which resource editor will be the best and easy to learn for a newbie like me.

Regards
