Actually, I am glad from this behaviour of the rowset.
I prefer to see all of the records that I have added or modified in the browse.
Just a suggestion, leave it as it is. Only include (or change if edited) the new record in the rowset.

But the present behavior is not correct. Also there could be other side-effects. What you observed are some of those side effects.
Correct behavior is : After edit/add the rowset should be just like what it appears after a requery.
