Thanks for the clarification.

How much does it cost?.

Does it include ALL source code?.

If it does not sell all the source code, as you pointed out on previous experience, we canĀ“t rely on a single programmer that disappears from time to time!!!!

Well, regarding the source code, it is not always that you get the complete source with every LIB you ever bought. It's up to the owner, author to decide.

Take for example FastReport. As far as I know, he is a Russian and he passed away... We all use his library and it works. If the LIB is written ok and no technical problems exist, it is a mater of features we might need but unfortunately we cannot have in FR. But we can use successfully the library for years, as long as it suit our needs.

I don't think the LIB is for sale at the moment. Needs a good help documentation to be done, because it is a specific tool which deals with a lot of web programming logic, combined with windows controls use.
I hope it will be available in some reasonable time.

Hello Antonio,

I'm just giving support to Boris finalize your system and insert new features for help him.
I'm able to send too update for who bought the lib on past.

Boris said that will help with the documentation, so when it was finished I can back to sell.

I can't sell now without documentation, it will be available soon.

Boris,

The screen shots are great. Is Paysoft a client of yours? They used to be a client of mine a number of years ago. I haven't seen that name in a long time.

I notice that the web demo is not running on Paysoft's website.

James

:)
The same year you did some code for them, I started to work for them. It was really far back ....
I am still with them, 14 years later.

They changed the servers several times and somebody pushed a wrong button so the link is not valid. I have no time to fix that, so they will do it sooner or later. I fixed once and they changed the server and configuration and now the link is not valid...

I think today I was talking with people from Paysoft and we mentioned you :)

Hi Boris,

Does FiveWeb support MS SQL connectivity? Field validation, including data lookup / lists?

Sincerely,

Hi Darrel,

I am not using mySql yet.
But, as far as I know Fiveweb connects to MySql without problem and according to the samples Lailton provided there is no problem wit MySQL.
He suggests Dolphin.
I am finishing the app which will work on Windows environment for now.

If I write the app which works under Windows environment and connects to MySql - then it is just a mater of recompiling the same source code for Linux and use it on Linux machine.

In any case, Lailton is the one who can give you the most accurate info.
I am not in charge for this library.
I am just an ordinary user who likes it. I can answer only the questions that I was working at.
If I remember well, we both started with this library at almost the same time. But you gave up (I absolutely understand you) and I decided to try to use this lib. It paid off :)

Darrel,

FiveWeb use harbour so all feature that we have in harbour can be used on fiveweb, I have used dolphin to MySQL and DBFCDX and work fine.
If you need connect to others database you can use ODBC. ( hbodbc )

I'm backing working on the project fiveweb.

Lailton
