New version of BackupBuilder released!
Posted: Mon Nov 13, 2006 6:25 am
Hello,
BackupBuilder is a script driven, multilingual backup and restore tool.
You can call it from your applications or from the command line in order
to give your customers the possibility to save and restore their datas.
BackupBuilder has a lot of configuration switches so you can set it up the
way you need it. You can define different backup tasks, the backups can
be password protected and you can use several path, date and time
constants in the scripts.
BackupBuilder is freeware and available at www.backupbuilder.com.
Beside several bugfixes I have added these features to the new version:
- Possibility to execute an external application after backup, restore and exit.
- The selected folder and file name can be saved in order to use them
automatically for the next backup.
- After a backup or restore process is finished BackupBuilder adds the
section [LastBackup] respectively [LastRestore] to the ini file.
The sections contain the entries date, time and file.
- New entries in the script:
SilentMode - hides the dialog window and sets the SHOWxxx entries to NO.
ShowProcessPage - hides/shows the process page.
Let me know if you need any additional features.
Best regards, Timm.
