Required Libraries

I was perusing Willy's query and I think he needs to
sudo apt-get install libglade2-dev
which wasn't on the list you sent him. The required library doesn't install with the glade-2 package.
In chasing that up I noticed that you had previously included unixODBC-dev which I don't think I have ever installed - but have had no problem either. Is unixODBC-dev required still or only under some (what) circumstances?
